Activitas overpowers VIKO B1

Activitas B1 powers over VIKO B1.

It is the twenty-sixth of November 2011, Activitas B1 has a tough match against VIKO B1, to stay in the running to become the champion of the indoor season a win is required. Can Activitas manage?

The formation is as followed:

• First attacking four: Christa Winkelman, Bente Stellaard, Cas Tetteroo and Chiel Stoop.
• First defensive four: Sharona van Elst, Marleen Honders, Jelmer Florie and Ron Quint (Captain).

During the first ten minutes of the game no scores were recorded however it was clear that Activitas B1 from Maurik was superior. Nice passes flew across the court and VIKO couldn’t do much more than follow. After ten minutes Activitas opened the score due to Chiel Stoop with a shot from distance, followed by Cas Tetteroo who drained his shot from deep. After the changing of the courts Jelmer Florie and Ron Quint both were allowed to score after some nice passes by the ladies. VIKO was allowed to score twice bringing the score to 4-2. After the hot tea in the dressing rooms it was Activitas who was allowed to score four successive goals by respectively Chiel Stoop (two times) Ron Quint and Cas Tetteroo. The advantage was to Activitas and with the 8-2 the usual Captain was substituted by Sander IJpelaar who was allowed to score the last goal. In the final three minutes VIKO finally drained their shots. Three more goals were added on the scoreboard bringing the final score to 9-5.
